The Federal Court has recently rendered a judgement on the law applicable to a copyright dispute that is probably the first one on this issue in Canada: https://decisions.fct-cf.gc.ca/fc-cf/decisions/en/item/525168/index.do Our two panelists will analyse it from the perspective of their respective areas of specialization: copyright law and private international law. Do both approaches lead to the same outcome?
