Description:

The Copyright Act provides that users can apply to the Copyright Board for a licence when they are unable to locate the copyright owner of a work they would like to use. In this webinar, the Copyright Board will outline the legal framework and the application process and provide an overview of the types of applications filed. This will also include a discussion of a few interesting decisions issued by the Board.
